Job Summary:

We are seeking a Company Secretary/Lawyer (preferred CS) with experience in RERA work to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statewise RERA authorities under RERA Act, Joint Venture (JV) transactions, Demat of shares & other securities, and other statutory & regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. RERA Compliance:

  2. Ensure compliance with the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, and rules made thereunder.

  3. Coordinate with internal departments and RERA consultants for Project RERA registrations and respond to queries raised during the registration.

  4. Ensure timely filing of RERA quarterly compliances, half yearly compliances, yearly compliances, and event-based compliances.

  5. Compliances related to Agent registration and related half yearly filings.

  6. Compliances related to completion/closure of project on RERA portal.

  7. JV Transaction - Company Secretarial compliances:

  8. Maintenance and updating of JV company records

  9. Ensure compliance with Companies Act, 2013, and other applicable laws.

  10. Coordination with our nominated director on the board of JV and JV partner SPOC for CRs, Board meetings, EGM and AGM and other compliances.

  11. Review of draft related to upcoming transaction documents.

  12. Other Responsibilities:

  13. Coordination with NSDL, CDSL, RTA with respect to Demat of Shares/ debentures and other securities, Corporate Actions whenever required.

  14. Compliance related to Dubai representative office

  15. Coordinate with regulatory authorities, lawyers, and other external parties.

  16. Coordinate with internal departments where required

Additional Requirements:

  1. Qualifications:

Company Secretary (CS).

  1. Experience:

  2. At least 2-3 years of experience as a Company Secretary or in a RERA related role in real estate industry.

  3. Skills:

  4. Working knowledge of Companies Act, 2013, RERA, and other applicable laws.

  5. Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
