Marketing Automation Manager

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for implementing and, automating manual processes and workflows, and setting up performance measurement tools that will enable us to convert raw data into actionable insights.

What you will be doing

  • Formulate short-term and long-term client visions for each phase of the customer lifecycle.
  • Participate in delivering pitches along with the Creative Lead and the Head of Digital Transformation.
  • Create comprehensive strategies and roadmaps to effectively realize these visions.
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders across the organization to pinpoint opportunities where marketing technology can drive cost reduction, sales enhancement, and operational efficiencies.
  • Provide vital support to marketing and customer acquisition teams by overseeing day-to-day operations
  • Collaborate closely with data teams to analyze the efficacy of customer acquisition and retention campaigns.
  • Assess their impact on the holistic customer experience and institute optimization measures.
  • Facilitate the training, upskilling, and development of the marketing team.
  • Establish governance structures and promote best practices to ensure the successful execution of email marketing campaigns for clients.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal departments to fulfill client needs effectively.

Skills required:

  • Experience in marketing automation or a wider digital marketing role for a high growth business.
  • Experience in setting up automated campaigns in Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms (WebEngage, MoEngage, CleverTap)
  • Experience in implementing web tracking technologies (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Snowflake etc).
  • Expertise in translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Ability to pivot quickly and make fast decisions based on changing needs in a high growth environment.
  • Strategic mindset that can see beyond the day-to-day to help the business achieve long-term customer acquisition and retention goals.
  • Comfortable with working to tight deadlines and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks across multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, PECR and other relevant privacy regulations.
