Why are we building Dezerv?

Investing is stressful and emotional. Building & growing wealth is difficult and time-consuming. Most individuals struggle with managing their investments and money. Our goal is to help individuals grow their wealth without the stress, time, and costs involved in a traditional investment. At Dezerv, we are building a platform that leverages our decades of investment expertise to help individuals invest better for their future.

What are we trying to solve/mission?

We are passionate about helping Indians invest better. We manage investments with active oversight to help both sophisticated and new investors build long-term wealth across various market conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fund Operations Oversight:
    Take charge of the entire spectrum of fund operations, including trade processing, reconciliation, NAV calculation, and investor servicing.
  • Fund Accounting:
    Ensure accurate and timely recording of all fund transactions, including income, expenses, and capital activity.
  • Setting up of Process:
    Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement within the fund operations workflow.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and reporting obligations.
  • Relationship Management:
    Serve as a key point of contact for external stakeholders, including fund administrators, auditors, and regulatory authorities. Build and maintain strong relationships to support the effective operation of the funds.
  • Risk Management:
    Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with fund operations, ensuring robust controls are in place to safeguard fund assets and maintain data integrity.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in fund operations, preferably with exposure to AIFs
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting principles and practices, including familiarity with NAV calculation, performance measurement, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
