Category Lead – Oil || 4-8 years || B2B || CTC upto 25 Lakhs

We are seeking a Category Lead – Oil to manage end-to-end category operations including sourcing, procurement, vendor management, and demand planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the sourcing and procurement of oil category materials in alignment with business goals.
- Develop and implement category strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supply reliability.
- Drive demand planning and forecasting in coordination with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, and production).
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; ensure supplier compliance and performance monitoring.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and pricing to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular market analysis to stay updated on price trends, supply risks, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and planning teams to ensure smooth material availability and inventory management.
- Generate periodic reports on category performance, spend analytics, and supplier KPIs.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of procurement and sourcing processes.
- Experience in demand planning and supply chain operations.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- 4-5 years' experience in managing Oil Category
