Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tender Officer to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon. This full-time, mid-level position requires 4 to 6 years of professional experience. As a Tender Officer, you will play a crucial role in our procurement and contract processes, ensuring compliance and optimizing project outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bid Management (Mandatory skill): Expertise in devising and implementing effective bid strategies and managing the entire bidding process.
  • Contract Law (Mandatory skill): In-depth understanding of contract law to ensure compliance and protect company interests in all agreements.
  • Procurement Software (Mandatory skill): Proficient in utilizing modern procurement software to enhance efficiency and accuracy in contract management.
  • Project Management: Capable of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ensure favorable terms and conditions that align with company objectives when negotiating with vendors and clients.
  • Vendor Management: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure high quality and cost-effective procurement.
  • Cost Estimation: Skillful in accurately estimating costs associated with projects, allowing for effective budgeting and financial planning.
  • Proposal Writing: Proficient in crafting clear and compelling proposals that align with bid requirements and enhance the likelihood of winning contracts.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the tender process from initial assessment to submission and post-award management.
  • Develop and implement bidding strategies that increase the company's success rate and market presence.
  • Analyze contracts and procurement documents to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and inputs required for proposal submissions.
  • Identify potential risks in projects and devise strategies to minimize impact on cost and delivery timelines.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure optimal outcomes aligned with company goals and budgets.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and financial models to support decision-making processes during tender evaluations.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain competitive edge.
