Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and efficient Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our busy multi-specialty hospital. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English and Kannada, strong customer service experience, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and vendors courteously and professionally.
  • Answer and route telephone calls promptly; handle patient inquiries effectively.
  • Register new patients and update patient information accurately in the hospital system.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with doctors and specialists.
  • Coordinate with nursing and medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Handle billing inquiries, receipts, and maintain basic administrative records.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and waiting area.
  • Uphold confidentiality and patient privacy at all times.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: Minimum PUC / Diploma / Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and Kannada (Hindi or Tamil an added advantage).
  • Experience:
  • Prior customer service or front office experience preferred.
  • Previous healthcare or hospital experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, data entry).
  • Ability to multitask, remain calm, and professional under pressure.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time (rotational shifts may be required, including weekends or evenings).

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary based on experience and skills.
