**Job Description: Receptionist at Papa's Veterinary Hospital**

**Position Overview**:
As a Receptionist at Papa's Veterinary Hospital, you will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming and organized environment. You will manage the front desk operations, schedule appointments, handle inquiries, and ensure smooth communication between clients and the veterinary team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Client Interaction**:

- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Provide information about hospital services, policies, and pricing.
- **Appointment Management**:

- Schedule and confirm appointments, including routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency visits.
- Maintain an organized and accurate calendar for veterinary staff.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Process client registration forms and update patient records in the hospital's database.
- Handle billing, payments, and issuing receipts.
- Prepare and maintain documents and forms related to veterinary care.
- **Customer Service**:

- Address and resolve client concerns or complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Educate clients on basic pet care, preventative treatments, and hospital protocols.
- **Support Veterinary Team**:

- Communicate client and patient needs to the veterinary team.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
- Coordinate follow-up communications, such as reminders or post-care instructions.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in using computer systems and scheduling software.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
- Compassionate and patient when interacting with pet owners and animals.

**Working Conditions**:

- Primarily a desk-based role with frequent interaction with clients, pets, and staff.
- May involve handling stressed or anxious animals and their owners.
- Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

- Jayanagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
