Job Overview Spandana Hospital is currently seeking a Junior Medical Receptionist for a full-time position at our Bengaluru location. The role requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years of work experience. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for managing patient interactions and maintaining a smooth operational workflow within the healthcare setting. Qualifications and Skills Must have proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) (Mandatory skill) to efficiently update and manage patient information. Experience with patient scheduling software (Mandatory skill) is essential to arrange patient appointments effectively. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Mandatory skill) is crucial for administrative tasks and communication. Strong understanding of HIPAA Compliance to protect patient confidentiality and privacy. Capability in medical billing and coding to ensure accurate processing of patient billing information. Skilled in office administration to maintain the daily operational workflow in the clinic setting. Excellent customer service skills to provide a welcoming and supportive experience for patients and visitors. Knowledge of basic medical terminology to facilitate effective communication with healthcare professionals and patients. Roles and Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression. Manage patient appointments and scheduling using patient scheduling software. Maintain and update patient records in electronic health records systems accurately. Handle medical billing and coding tasks to ensure accurate processing of patient accounts. Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries efficiently and effectively. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and clinic operations. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient information security and confidentiality. Perform basic office administrative duties to support the front office operations.
