**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Dental Assisting Duties**:

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (if qualified).
- Record and update patient medical histories and treatment notes.
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain dental supplies and monitor inventory levels.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and policies.

**Receptionist Duties**:

- Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive front desk experience.
- Confirm appointments and follow up on cancellations or rescheduling.
- Process patient registrations and update personal and medical records.
- Handle billing, payments, insurance claims, and EFTPOS transactions.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with privacy regulations.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or relevant experience).
- Prior experience in a dental or medical reception role is preferred.
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., D4W, Exact, Oasis, or similar).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Professional, friendly, and empathetic manner.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
