Senior Manager

Purpose/Objective

The Structural Design Manager will play a crucial role in the aviation or retail and commercial infrastructure industry, overseeing the structural design of terminals, ATC, and ancillary buildings or large-scale commercial and retail structures.

The ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of experience in civil engineering and structural engineering, with a focus on delivering high-quality, innovative, and sustainable design solutions.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Lead the structural design team in developing innovative and efficient design solutions for terminals, ATC, and ancillary buildings or large-scale commercial and retail infrastructure - Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand design requirements, goals, and constraints - Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements in all design activities - Oversee the preparation of detailed structural engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation - Conduct thorough structural analysis and simulations to validate the integrity and safety of design solutions - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the design team - Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and construction site visits to ensure successful project execution - Collaborate with external consultants, architects, and contractors to integrate structural design with overall project objectives - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and quality of structural design processes - Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering and design Behavioral Skills - Strong leadership and team management abilities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and sustainability - Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment - Adaptability and flexibility in handling evolving project requirements Technical Skills - Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or STAAD.
