Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced L3 Oracle DBA to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle database systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database administration, performance tuning, security, backup and recovery, and ensuring high availability. Key Responsibilities :

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related products.
  • Monitor database performance and implement tuning improvements.
  • Manage database security, user access, and authentication.
  • Perform database backup and recovery operations using RMAN.
  • Implement and maintain high availability solutions like Data Guard, RAC, and GoldenGate.
  • Develop and maintain database scripts, stored procedures, and automation tasks.
  • Troubleshoot database issues and provide resolutions to performance bottlenecks.
  • Conduct database patching and ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and application teams.
  • Support database migrations, upgrades, and cloud implementations (if applicable).
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 12c/19c/21c administration.
  • Experience with RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, GoldenGate.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 13c.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based Oracle solutions (OCI, AWS RDS, or Azure) is a plus.
