Role Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle databases, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical systems and implement best practices for database management.

Experience - Min 10 Years

Key Responsibilities :

Database Administration :

- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle 19c databases on standalone and clustered environments (Oracle GRID).

- Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular health checks.

High Availability & Disaster Recovery :

- Required experience to Set up and manage Oracle Exadata, FarSync etc.

- Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and other tools.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement and manage Oracle Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) and Oracle Key Vault (OKV).

- Configure and administer Oracle Database Vault for advanced security and compliance.

Upgrades & Patching :

- Plan and execute database patching, upgrades, and migrations to ensure system reliability and supportability.

Performance Tuning :

- Perform advanced tuning and optimization for high-performance workloads, analysing AWR, ADDM, and other diagnostic tools.

Documentation & Automation :

- Create and maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, processes, and best practices.

- Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.

Skills & Qualifications :

Essential Technical Skills :

- Expertise in Oracle 19c database architecture, configuration, and administration.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle GRID Infrastructure, ExaData and RAC.

- Proficiency in Oracle TDE, OKV, and Database Vault implementation.

- Knowledge of Oracle Exadata and FarSync configurations.

- Strong backup and recovery skills using RMAN and Data Pump.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Educational Requirements :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g., OCP, OCM) are highly preferred.
