ATH Broker is a leading logistics and transportation solutions provider, specializing in connecting shippers with reliable carriers. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Freight Broker Agent with a strong track record of shipper onboarding in the Indian markets. As a Freight Broker Agent, you will play a critical role in expanding our network of shippers in the Indian markets. Your primary responsibility will be to onboard new shippers, establish lasting relationships, and match their transportation needs with our pool of reliable carriers. This position requires a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of shipper onboarding experience and a deep understanding of the transportation and logistics.

Role & responsibilities

Shipper Onboarding: Identify, contact, and onboard new shippers in the Indian markets to expand our client base.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their transportation needs effectively.

Market Research: Continuously monitor market trends and shipping demands in the assigned region to identify potential clients and opportunities for growth.

Carrier Matching: Collaborate with carrier partners to ensure the successful and timely delivery of shipments, meeting shipper requirements.

Rate Negotiation: Negotiate competitive rates with both shippers and carriers while ensuring profitability and service quality.

Contract Management: Prepare and manage contracts and agreements with shippers, carriers, and other stakeholders.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, including safety and legal requirements.

Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on shipper onboarding activities, achievements, and market insights to the management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of shipper onboarding experience in the Indian transportation and logistics market.
  • Proven track record of successfully onboarding and managing shipper accounts.
  • Strong understanding of transportation and logistics industry practices and trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
