Job Description:

Transport Management (Gurgaon and Bengaluru)

Primary responsibility: Vendor Management, transport operations, performance reporting including MIS and Governance

Secondary responsibility: On ground transport operation

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Generate regular reports and dashboards providing insights into transport efficiency, costs, and service quality
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in transport operations
  • Analyze OTA/OTD (On-Time Arrival/On-Time Departure) reports daily, weekly, and monthly
  • Ensure all MIS processes comply with relevant regulations and company policies, maintaining data integrity and security
  • Reporting and action planning towards noncompliance in operations like unverified drivers trip performed, On time vendor billing, regular update on feedback with lesser ratings

2. Process Management and Improvement:

  • Analyze employee transport needs, developing tailored processes and procedures in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure sanctity of transport processes and rectify discrepancies promptly
  • Adjust routes according to vendor fleet distribution for optimal performance

3. Vendor Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster collaboration and reliability including discussion of vendor scorecard
  • Drive vendor performance and supply chain basis the scorecard
  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor-related inquiries and issues
  • Track vendor performance against agreed service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and address any issues or areas for improvement

4. Incident Management and Reporting:

  • Handle incidents and ensure effective incident reporting
  • Monitor business distribution and manage vendor and employee escalations (via email or in-person meetings) promptly

5. Industry Knowledge and Innovation:

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in transport management
  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve transport operations

6. MIS Management and Optimization:

  • Manage and optimize transport management information systems (MIS)
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the transport MIS
  • Generate MIS reports to track operational performance

Key Qualifications and experience

  • Qualifications: Graduate Regular
  • Total experience (~ 6-8 years years) in different organizations:

Primary Location: SLGS, Gurgaon

Schedule: A Shift (1.30 Hrs – 22.00 Hrs.) and flexible as per business requirements.
