Location: Mumbai

Salary Range: ₹18,00,000 – ₹24,00,000 per annum (₹1.5 – ₹2 lakh per month)

Position Overview

We are looking for an accomplished and result-driven Head of Sales with 15+ years of proven experience in FMCG product sales. The candidate must bring strategic sales leadership, strong industry connections, and extensive experience in handling pan-India operations. This role is critical to driving revenue growth through procuring bulk orders from distilleries and ensuring effective management of the sales team and nationwide operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire sales function for Rice, Maize, and Malt supplied to distilleries manufacturing Alcohol, ENA, and Ethanol.

  • Drive business development and client acquisition with focus on long-term revenue growth.

  • Manage and monitor pan-India sales operations, ensuring timely execution of client orders.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and performance oversight to the sales team across regions.

  • Develop innovative sales strategies to maintain competitiveness in the market.

  • Build and nurture strong client relationships, ensuring repeat and large-volume business.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless execution of supply chain requirements.

  • Report directly to top management on sales performance, forecasts, and market developments.

Candidate Profile

  • 15+ years of sales experience in FMCG sector, with proven ability to drive large-scale operations.

  • Strong exposure to agro commodities (Rice, Maize, Malt) and prior experience in distillery supply chain preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and monitor large sales teams across India.

  • Excellent negotiation, client handling, and strategic planning skills.

  • MBA (Sales/Marketing) from a reputed university preferred.

  • Must be highly disciplined, target-oriented, and capable of handling high-pressure environments.

Compensation

Competitive salary in the range of ₹18,00,000 – ₹24,00,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹1,800, ₹2,400,000.00 per year
