Role & responsibilities

  • Maintain proper records of inward and outward materials (raw materials, finishes, hardware, consumables).
  • Ensure physical verification and documentation of goods received as per purchase order and specifications.
  • Issue materials to project/site teams against approved requisitions.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring no stock-out or excess accumulation.
  • Tag, label, and arrange materials systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
  • Conduct periodic stock audits, reconciliations, and generate MIS reports.
  • Coordinate with procurement and project teams for timely supply and stock updates.
  • Ensure safe storage of materials to prevent damage, theft, or wastage.
  • Maintain compliance with company SOPs, safety norms, and quality standards.
  • Assist in logistics coordination for timely dispatch to sites.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong knowledge of store/inventory management practices.
  • Familiarity with interior fit-out materials (plywood, laminates, hardware, paints, etc.).
  • Proficiency in ERP/Inventory software, MS Excel, and reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple project material requirements simultaneously.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance in material handling.
