Job Description:
 
We are having an urgent opening for the position of Regional Manager for a reputed Company at the Baroda location.

Job Requirement:
  • Responsible for achieving regional sales targets of Cable vertical including specialty cables.
  • Drive sales for Power, Control, EHV Cables & Fire survival Cables
  • Responsible for evaluating market trends and gathering competitive information to improve sales and profitability of the Cable vertical
  • Organize & lead project teams consisting of various support groups to respond effectively to unique business opportunities.
  • Responsible for Cable Sales & marketing function including budget project objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Develop strategic profiles of key / potential competitors and forecast markets, business volume, and market share.
  • Provide marketing support for corporate strategic planning.
  • Establish and maintain close ties with customers & support groups.
  • Evaluate market conditions, prepare sales plans & forecasts, and develop cost-effective business strategies to achieve objectives.
  • Establish business/market segment strategies to achieve growth/profitability objectives and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for Developing  and executing a sales plan for the assigned territory
  • Required to Travel & stay at various locations.

Education Qualification  –  Electrical Engineer.
 
Knowledge & Skills :
  • 3- 5yrs of experience in heading & managing a regional team.
  • Target oriented, strong team management skills
  • Requires excellent communication skills, presentation, analytical & negotiation skills.
  • Requires strategic planning skills, and the ability to translate corporate/business unit goals & objectives into realistic marketing & sales plans.
  • Strong Contacts within cable market segments are highly desirable.
  • Candidates  with adequate  experience in dealing with Government bodies/  Industry /  Relevant projects & Electrical segment  will be preferred
