Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Senior Manager – Operations (Procurement & Supply Chain)
to oversee and streamline our procurement, supply chain, and operations functions across
SWAH & HADO. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in FMCG & D2C/Ecom operations, with proven experience in managing end-to-end procurement, warehousing, vendor management, logistics, and supply chain efficiency.
The candidate must be from the Western Line of Mumbai or Wada region, ensuring easy accessibility to our operations hub. Marathi speaking is a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers/vendors for raw materials, packaging, and services.

  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and credit terms to ensure cost & service efficiency.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure consistent quality and timely supplies.
  • Identify potential risks of various suppliers and take data driven decisions

  • Warehousing & Transportation

  • Optimize logistics and distribution channels for cost-effective delivery.

  • Maintain a minimum of 95% SLA across the secondary distribution node.
  • Ensure timely coordination between production units, warehouses, and distributors.
  • Oversee day-to-day operational processes to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Monitor KPIs on procurement, inventory, cost optimization, and turnaround times.
  • Must be well versed with RCA modules and Fish bone structure.
  • Must be able to attain 99% CPD and should be able to keep the breach% max upto 1%
  • Must be well aware of CPK/CPS/CUP logics in terms of transportation
  • Must be well aware of various transportation modes and must have a sound hands on experience of working of H&S model.
  • Must be well versed in network utilization
  • Ensure zero discrepancy/shrinkage/pilferage with strict SOP and system adherence.
  • Well versed with setting up of Grade A warehouse & distribution network from scratch.
  • Work closely with 3PLs, transporters, and courier aggregators for seamless last-mile execution.
  • Must be well versed with Warehousing & Transportation compliance

  • Inventory & S&OP Management

  • Ensure zero discrepancy/shrinkage/pilferage with strict SOP and system adherence

  • Oversee FIFO/FEFO compliance and smooth order processing.
  • Manage demand planning, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Ensure 100% OTIF.
  • Should be implementing JIT & 5S philosophies
  • Implement best practices in supply chain systems and ERP/SAP/WMS/Zoho Inventory tools.
  • Must be well aware of the Expiry, Near Expiry Expired & RTO stock movement within the warehouse

  • Cross-functional Coordination

  • Drive process improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

  • Work closely with production, sales, finance, and quality teams for seamless operations.

  • Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to statutory and company compliance requirements.

  • Mitigate supply chain risks through contingency planning.

  • Software Skills

  • Must be well versed with Advanced Excel & PPT

  • G-Studio/Power BI creation of dashboard making is a plus not mandatory

  • Soft Skills

  • Must be a go-getter and never say die attitude

  • We are looking for someone who doesn't wait for the problem to get resolved on its own but someone who can roll up their sleeves and get the same resolved on ground
  • Must have good stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Must have customer first attitude
  • A Master's in Supply Chain/Logistics is preferred but not mandatory — we value skill and perseverance over degrees.
  • Must be bringing in new initiatives in Ops, Cost & Efficiency
  • Must have handled a team of employees

Candidate must be from FMCG background and must have handled large volumes in D2C & ECOM. P&L experience is good to have not mandatory. The candidate must be from the Western Line of Mumbai or Wada region, ensuring easy accessibility to our operations hub. Marathi speaking is a must. This position reports to AVP Ops.
Requirements
Key Skills:

  • Go-getter mindset with strong execution capability.
  • 4–6 years' experience in Supply Chain within FMCG, Q-commerce, or E-commerce is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel & PPT is mandatory.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in fast-paced, startup environments.
  • A Master's in Supply Chain/Logistics is preferred but not mandatory — we value skill and perseverance over degrees.
