About Us:
Priority 1 Group provides outsourcing solutions across bookkeeping, marketing and HR, with a strong client base in the NDIS sector, Australia. We are seeking an organised and proactive HR & Compliance Officer to lead internal recruitment and manage onboarding for our clients and us.
Role Overview:
This role combines
recruitment for Priority 1 Group
and
compliance-focused onboarding for NDIS support workers
. You will ensure all new hires are recruited efficiently, onboarded correctly into our systems and remain fully compliant with NDIS requirements.
We are looking for someone who is not only skilled but also
keen to learn, take on new responsibilities and grow with the role
.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Compliance for Priority 1 Group
- Post job ads, screen candidates, schedule interviews and manage end-to-end hiring.
- Support managers with workforce planning and recruitment updates.
Onboarding & Compliance (NDIS Clients)
- Take over once candidates are selected by clients and manage the full onboarding process.
- Collect and verify all required documents.
- Issue and manage agreements and contracts.
- Allocate, track and follow up on mandatory training modules.
- Set up staff in
SharePoint, Excel and HR systems
. - Maintain accurate HR records and monitor expiry dates.
- Prepare compliance reports and assist with audits.
- Provide timely communication and support to staff, management and clients.
Skills & Requirements:
- Proven experience in
HR recruitment and onboarding
. - Experience managing and working with
large datasets
. - Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in
Excel, SharePoint and HR systems
. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of
integrity, commitment, accuracy and attention to detail
. - A proactive attitude with the willingness to
learn and take on greater responsibilities
.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
in Human Resources, Business, Operations or a related field. - Master's degree
in HR/Business will be highly regarded. - Previous experience in the NDIS or healthcare sector (Optional).
