Job Purpose

Manager - Talent Management for AMESA (Africa, Middle East, South Asia) is a senior HR leadership role accountable for designing and executing the regional talent development strategy, building strong talent pipelines and bench-strength, and shaping the future-ready workforce for the business. This role spans Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Diversity & Inclusion, Campus Hiring, Capability Development, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, and Communications, while also leading the flagship skill enhancement initiative for blue-collar employees.

The incumbent will serve as a strategic advisor to business and HR leadership, driving a culture of high performance, inclusion, and continuous learning across 8 manufacturing units and the AMESA Regional Office.

Role & responsibilities

  1. Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Campus Hiring

  2. Lead strategic hiring for critical and volume roles across AMESA.

  3. Develop campus programs to build early-career pipelines.
  4. Drive D&I hiring across manufacturing and functions.
  5. Enhance employer branding to attract diverse talent.

  6. Talent Strategy, Development & Pipeline

  7. Deliver AMESA Talent Strategy aligned with business growth.

  8. Build strong succession and leadership pipelines.
  9. Drive IDPs, CDPs, and leadership development journeys.
  10. Partner with leaders to anticipate and close talent gaps.

  11. Performance Management & Capability Building

  12. Lead Performance Management System design and execution.

  13. Promote strong goal-setting, differentiation, and feedback culture.
  14. Drive digital, technical, and behavioral skill development.
  15. Ensure e-learning adoption and capability certification (incl. blue-collar).

  16. Employee Engagement & Communications

  17. Design innovative strategies to boost employee experience.

  18. Lead internal/external communications for clear and inspiring messaging.
  19. Use engagement tools to identify gaps and drive action.

  20. Stakeholder Management & Leadership

  21. Partner with senior leaders to advance the talent agenda.

  22. Handle complex discussions with credibility and empathy.
  23. Act as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders.
  24. Collaborate with Plant HR, regional teams, and global COEs for alignment.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Education: Masters in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 12+ years in HR with focus on Talent Management, Capability Development, and PMS.
  • Proven success in leading large-scale talent strategies.
  • Experience in multi-country, diverse, and manufacturing-heavy settings.
