Job Purpose
Manager - Talent Management for AMESA (Africa, Middle East, South Asia) is a senior HR leadership role accountable for designing and executing the regional talent development strategy, building strong talent pipelines and bench-strength, and shaping the future-ready workforce for the business. This role spans Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Diversity & Inclusion, Campus Hiring, Capability Development, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, and Communications, while also leading the flagship skill enhancement initiative for blue-collar employees.
The incumbent will serve as a strategic advisor to business and HR leadership, driving a culture of high performance, inclusion, and continuous learning across 8 manufacturing units and the AMESA Regional Office.
Role & responsibilities
Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Campus Hiring
Lead strategic hiring for critical and volume roles across AMESA.
- Develop campus programs to build early-career pipelines.
- Drive D&I hiring across manufacturing and functions.
Enhance employer branding to attract diverse talent.
Talent Strategy, Development & Pipeline
Deliver AMESA Talent Strategy aligned with business growth.
- Build strong succession and leadership pipelines.
- Drive IDPs, CDPs, and leadership development journeys.
Partner with leaders to anticipate and close talent gaps.
Performance Management & Capability Building
Lead Performance Management System design and execution.
- Promote strong goal-setting, differentiation, and feedback culture.
- Drive digital, technical, and behavioral skill development.
Ensure e-learning adoption and capability certification (incl. blue-collar).
Employee Engagement & Communications
Design innovative strategies to boost employee experience.
- Lead internal/external communications for clear and inspiring messaging.
Use engagement tools to identify gaps and drive action.
Stakeholder Management & Leadership
Partner with senior leaders to advance the talent agenda.
- Handle complex discussions with credibility and empathy.
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders.
- Collaborate with Plant HR, regional teams, and global COEs for alignment.
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: Masters in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Experience: 12+ years in HR with focus on Talent Management, Capability Development, and PMS.
- Proven success in leading large-scale talent strategies.
- Experience in multi-country, diverse, and manufacturing-heavy settings.
Skills & Competencies
- Deep expertise in Talent Acquisition, Management, PMS, and L&D.
- Strategic thinker with strong program design and execution skills.
- Strong influencer with ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communicator with facilitation and conflict resolution strengths.
