Accountant – Mining Operations (Namibia)

Location: Namibia

About Us: We are a developing iron ore mining company in Namibia, focused on building efficient and sustainable operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records and support day-to-day business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting activities.
  • Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with company and statutory requirements.
  • Support budgeting, cost tracking, and project expenditure control.
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities for compliance and filings.
  • Maintain accurate records for mining operations and procurement.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and financial standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and organizational ability.
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience, preferably in mining, construction, or industrial operations.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and tax compliance in Namibia.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and reporting skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30, ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Hospet, Karnataka: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
