Job Description Internal Audit & Risk Management Role Overview: (Senior Manager)

The role involves driving independent assurance on internal controls, risk management frameworks, and governance processes across multiple business functions and geographies. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting audits, identifying key risks, and recommending improvements to strengthen control environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute internal audits, risk reviews, and compliance assessments across business processes, operations, and technology environments.
  • Perform end-to-end risk assessments, from scoping and planning to reporting, with a focus on identifying control gaps and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Conduct walkthroughs, evaluate design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, and recommend enhancements aligned with best practices.
  • Support enterprise-wide risk management initiatives, including risk identification, mitigation planning, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Provide assurance on adherence to regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and governance standards.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, management, and external stakeholders to ensure audit findings are communicated effectively and remediated in a timely manner.
  • Prepare high-quality audit reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and risk committees.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and the use of data analytics in audits.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to proactively enhance risk management practices.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in internal audit, risk management, or controls assurance, preferably across diverse industries and geographies.
