Key Responsibilities:

Employer Engagement:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners.
  • Identify and approach new companies for potential recruitment opportunities.
  • Organize and conduct employer visits, presentations, and recruitment drives on campus.

Placement Activities:

  • Coordinate and manage campus recruitment activities including job fairs, on-campus interviews, and career workshops.
  • Develop and maintain a placement calendar with key recruitment events.
  • Oversee the logistics and administration of placement activities.

Student Support:

  • Provide career counseling and guidance to students.
  • Assist students in the preparation of resumes, cover letters, and interview techniques. o Conduct workshops and training sessions on job search strategies and career development.

Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of student placements, employer contacts, and job opportunities.
  • Prepare and present reports on placement statistics and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Use career management systems to track student progress and employer interactions.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with academic departments to understand student skills and align placement efforts.
  • Coordinate with alumni networks to leverage employment opportunities.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the visibility and reputation of the placement cell.
