Job Description: Accounts Receivable
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to

manage the financial transactions for our production retail operations. This role ensures

accurate, efficient, and timely processing of financial data, contributing to the company's

financial health and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable:

  • Generate accurate sales invoices in compliance with company policies and GST

regulations.

  • Monitor receivables and keep customer ledgers updated.
  • Prepare and manage e-way bills and required supporting documents.
  • Upload invoices and relevant documentation to customer portals.
  • Process and monitor credit notes, debit notes, and necessary adjustments.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure accurate and timely payment postings.
  • Address customer queries and resolve any billing discrepancies.
  • Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to strengthen customer

relationships.

  • Compile and submit daily/monthly financial reports to the Management.
  • Manage customer invoicing, payment collections, and regular follow-ups.
  • Reconcile bank statements, and customer/vendor accounts.
  • File GST returns and ensure adherence to all statutory compliance requirements.
  • Maintain AR aging schedules and circulate outstanding reports periodically.
  • Coordinate with sales, logistics, and customer support teams to obtain PODs and related

documents.

General Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely audit closures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Not mandatory
  • 3+ years of experience in AR/AP roles, preferably in the retail or production industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho books) and MS Office.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, tax regulations, and compliance
