Position: Purchase Executive

Department: Procurement / Supply Chain

Location: Chikhali, Pune

Experience Required: 1-4 years (Manufacturing/Engineering/Relevant Industry)

Qualification: Graduate / Diploma / BE Mechanical /MBA (preferred in Supply Chain/Materials Management)

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.

Prepare and process purchase orders as per the companys requirements.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve cost savings.

Maintain and update records of suppliers, purchase orders, and invoices.

Coordinate with the accounts and stores department for timely payment and material inward.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement to avoid stock-outs.

Track and expedite pending orders to ensure on-time delivery.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and standards.

Prepare MIS reports related to purchases, cost analysis, and vendor performance.

Build and maintain strong professional relationships with vendors and internal team

Skills & Competencies:

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.

Proficiency in MS Office, ERP / SAP (if applicable).

Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Time management and multitasking

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Cost savings achieved.

On-time delivery performance.

Accuracy of purchase records and documentation.

Vendor relationship management.

Compliance with company policies.
