About the Role

We are looking for a
Full-Stack SEO Specialist

who can own the end-to-end SEO strategy at Happy Pet. While the role requires technical SEO, analytics, and off-page expertise, the
core responsibility lies in content strategy and optimization

. The ideal candidate will blend technical know-how with content-driven growth strategies to scale our organic presence and establish
topical authority in the pet industry

.

Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & On-Page SEO (Core Focus)

  • Build and execute keyword-driven content calendars across blogs, landing pages, and guides.

  • Perform
    keyword clustering

and content gap analysis.

  • Optimize on-page elements (titles, meta, schema, internal linking, content structure).

  • Ensure content meets
    EEAT guidelines

and aligns with
search intent

.

  • Collaborate with writers to create
    SEO + User first content outlines

and review drafts.

Technical SEO

  • Conduct regular site audits (crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, site architecture).

  • Work with developers to fix technical issues (canonicalization, redirects, structured data).

  • Implement schema markup to enhance SERP visibility.

  • Monitor site health and resolve indexing/crawling issues.

Off-Page SEO & Authority Building

  • Support link-building campaigns via guest posting, digital PR, and outreach (Reddit, Quora).

  • Identify and build relationships with niche publishers, bloggers, and influencers.

  • Monitor backlink profile and maintain domain authority growth.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track performance via
    GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog

.

  • Create monthly SEO reports highlighting traffic, rankings, CTRs, and conversions.

  • Translate data into
    actionable growth recommendations

.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of SEO experience with
    content-first focus

.

  • Solid understanding of
    on-page SEO, technical SEO, and off-page SEO

.

  • Awareness of GEO,AEO and AI trends

which affects websites organic traffic

  • Hands-on experience with tools:
    GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, SurferSEO

.

  • Demonstrated success in
    growing organic traffic

and
ranking competitive keywords

.

  • Strong knowledge of
    content auditing, keyword clustering, topical mapping

.

  • Ability to collaborate with
    writers, designers, and developers

.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in
    pet care, SaaS, or consumer-facing content-heavy industries

  • Familiarity with
    content distribution (social, email, partnerships)

  • Understanding of
