About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated
SEO Specialist
to join our team and take ownership of driving organic growth through
technical SEO, on-page SEO, and off-page SEO
strategies. This role requires someone who is comfortable working with
code, WordPress
, and modern SEO tools to ensure our website ranks higher, earns quality backlinks, and increasingly features in
AI-driven search answers
.

Key Responsibilities:

Off-Page SEO

  • Build and manage a robust backlink acquisition strategy through outreach, partnerships, and content syndication.
  • Monitor backlink profile and disavow toxic links to maintain domain authority.
  • Leverage PR, guest posts, and thought leadership content for organic visibility.

Technical SEO

  • Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve crawl, indexing, and speed-related issues.
  • Optimize site structure, schema markup, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, , and Core Web Vitals.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented in new features, themes, and code releases.

On-Page SEO

  • Optimize meta tags, headers, internal linking, and content structure for better ranking and engagement.
  • Research and implement target keywords across landing pages, blogs, and product pages.
  • Ensure content is optimized for
    answer engines (AI-driven results like Google SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.)
    with a focus on structured data and semantic search.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience (technical, on-page, off-page).
  • Strong understanding of
    WordPress
    and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Basic coding skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP) to implement and debug SEO elements.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as
    Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4
    .
  • Familiarity with
    AI search engines and answer optimization (AEO)
    is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
