Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SEO Backlink Specialist to join Sportstechs marketing team. This role focuses on enhancing our online presence by acquiring high-quality backlinks from German-language and sportstech-related domains, aiming to improve our Domain Rating (DR) and Domain Authority (DA).

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement offpage SEO strategies to elevate DR and DA in relevant German and sportstech industry domains.
  • Research niche-specific backlink opportunities - sport, fitness equipment, wellness tech, and digital training content.
  • Conduct outreach for guest posts, niche edits, digital PR, forums, Q&A, and broken link-building campaigns.
  • Analyze backlink profiles of competitors and industry leaders to inform strategy.
  • Manage relationship pipelines using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Ubersuggest, etc.
  • Secure high-authority, contextually relevant link placements aligned with our brand voice.
  • Track performance and deliver regular reports on backlink acquisition quality and impact.
  • Ensure all tactics comply with white-hat SEO best practices and Google Guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of proven link-building experience.
  • Deep understanding of white-hat backlinking methods: guest posting, outreach, PR, niche edits, forums, Q&A, broken links.
  • Proficiency with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, and outreach tools.
  • Demonstrated success in securing placements on high-authority websites (DA 40+ relevant domains).
  • Familiarity with different backlink types: dofollow, nofollow, UGC, contextual, sponsored links, etc.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute off-page SEO strategies for eCommerce platforms targeting international markets, enhancing global online presence and authority.
