Role & responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify new export opportunities and assess regulatory landscapes.
  • Monitor export performance metrics and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with production, warehousing, and finance teams to align export schedules with supply chain capabilities.
  • Oversee end-to-end export operations including documentation, customs clearance, and freight coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including DGFT, FSSAI, and destination country requirements.
  • Prepare and manage export documentation: commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, shipping instructions, and LC documentation.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records of export transactions and support internal/external audits.
  • Resolve issues related to delays, documentation discrepancies, or customs queries.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Certification in Export Management or International Trade.
  • Experience dealing with perishable or regulated FMCG products.
  • Working knowledge of foreign languages is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
