The team you will be a part of

The Tax team ensures that the organization meets its tax obligations and objectives and complies with all relevant laws and regulations. Activities may include undertaking research; evaluating the legality and tax effectiveness of current and future business activities; preparing and submitting tax returns, tax declarations, and other required reports; maintaining tax records; and corresponding with external tax agencies or consultants.

Your responsibilities will include
  • Ensure compliance with GST regulations, including the preparation and filing of monthly and annual returns, as well as reconciliation statements.
  • Handling queries related to day-to-day transactional matters.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Review and approve month-end accounting entries related to GST matters. - Maintain and update a litigation tracker in real-time.
  • Prepare various Management Information System (MIS) reports and share data with auditors in a timely manner.
  • Support various GST litigations, including responding to intimations, addressing show cause notices, conducting GST audits, and preparing appeal documents.
  • File GST refund claims and follow up with authorities for prompt processing.
  • Explore opportunities for process automation and updates.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address various tax-related requirements.
  • Maintain compliance control checks and develop trackers for litigation management to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Minimum requirements

Qualification – Qualified CA or LLB Completed

Experience – 3-4 years of relevant experience into indirect taxation preferably from manufacturing industry

Other – ERP (SAP) system experience is mandatory
