Job Description for Finance Manager- GL at Escorts Kubota Limited

Job Title: Department:General LedgerLocation:Corporate Office, FaridabadReports to:Lead- General Ledger

Job Summary:

Preparation of Financial statements/ results as per SEBI LODR, IND AS and coordination with auditors for timely completion of audit and ensuring adherence to prescribed accounting practices across divisions and corporate teams

Requirements

  1. Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA)
  2. Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of experience with Listed Company in Financial reporting, GL profile
  3. Proficient in MS-Excel, ERP system (Oracle will be advantage)

Key Responsibilities:

- Data preparation for Bank Inventory, Debtors, Creditors, Borrowings etc.2Quarterly closing- Preparation of quarterly financial results, segments, cash flow etc.

- Preparation of related party transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Preparation of Advance Tax, Provision for Tax

- Preparation of data as per board requirements, including financial highlights, variance analysis, and other relevant information.

- Coordination with internal stakeholders, including management and external auditors, to ensure timely and accurate submission of quarterly reports.

- Review and update internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with changing regulatory requirements3Annual closing- Prepare and review Annual Financial statements ensuring compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) including notes to accounts, Companies Act, 2013, and other regulatory requirements.

- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and address any audit findings or observations.

- Prepare and review other financial reports, as required by regulatory bodies.

- AGM Questionnaire, XBRL Filling of Financials 4Statutory Compliances- Compliances w.r.t. Companies Act, 2013. Income Tax Act, 1961, GST, LODR

- Statutory returns- FLA, APR, Tax Audit, ITR, DPT-3, MSME etc.

- CSR Compliance, IFC data, J-Sox data5Event based work- Preparation of Due Diligence Data, Assessment details

- Annual report data, board report data,

- Reply to notices received from the Govt. bodies, Reply to other departments data request5Latest amendments and insights- Provide latest amendments update, insights to the management

- Study the industry practices and benchmarking the current practices

- Preparation of SOP for better understanding and following the uniform practices6Team Management- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
