Reports To: Marketing Manager / Director of Marketing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy to enhance our online presence, drive engagement, and increase brand awareness. The Social Media Manager will work closely with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn,, etc.) to align with the company's marketing goals.
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (text, images, videos, etc.) that resonates with the target audience.
  • Monitor and respond to social media interactions, fostering engagement and community building.
  • Analyze social media performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social) and prepare reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize strategies.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
  • Collaborate with other teams (e.g., content, design, PR) to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all social channels.
  • Manage paid social media campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads) including budget allocation, targeting, and performance tracking.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and manage relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and other industry partners.
  • Organize and lead social media contests, giveaways, or campaigns to increase engagement and followers.
  • Ensure the brand voice is consistently applied across all social media platforms.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in social media management, preferably in [industry].
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
  • Experience with social media analytics and management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Creative thinking and content creation skills (photography, video editing, copywriting).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media advertising and budget management.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with social media advertising platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SEO and how it applies to social media.
  • Familiarity with email marketing or influencer marketing.
  • Graphic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
