Role & responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day finance transactions using SAP FICO modules.
  • Ensure correct posting of journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, and asset accounting.
  • Support monthly and year-end financial close processes in SAP.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and reporting needs.
  • Process incoming vendor invoices through MIRO in SAP.
  • Match purchase orders (PO), goods receipt (GR), and invoices accurately (3-way match).
  • Monitor and resolve invoice discrepancies with procurement and vendors.
  • Ensure timely posting and payment processing.
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.
  • Maintain proper documentation and support for all reconciling items.
  • Coordinate with banks for transaction clarifications and corrections.
  • Assist in preparing daily/weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts.
  • Monitor inflow and outflow of funds, including receivables and payables.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of company funds to meet operational needs.
  • Prepare reports on cash position and projections for management review.
  • Assist in statutory compliance like GST, TDS, and income tax filings.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of finance processes.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and dashboards as requested by the management.

kills & Competencies:

  • Hands-on experience with SAP FICO, especially MIRO and payment processes.
  • Strong understanding of bank reconciliation and cash flow analysis.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with good organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an IT services or software company.
  • Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and invoice management in SAP.
