About the Role
The Business Development Head leads all agency growth initiatives, driving client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and revenue expansion across digital marketing services. This executive position requires a seasoned leader with deep digital marketing agency experience and a proven record in business development and sales leadership.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve agency revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with high-value prospects, clients, and partners in diverse industries.
- Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure, ensuring client needs are understood and agency solutions are tailored.
- Collaborate with the agency's top leadership to refine service offerings, pricing, go-to-market approaches, and market positioning.
- Analyze market trends, competitor moves, and customer data to uncover new business opportunities.
- Mentor and manage a business development team, setting goals, KPIs, and professional growth plans.
- Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and forums to increase visibility and network with potential clients.
Core Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of business development experience in digital marketing, advertising, or related sectors.
- Strong network across decision makers in target industries such as FMCG, healthcare, BFSI, retail, technology, etc.
- Expertise in digital marketing solutions including SEO, SEM, social media, programmatic, performance marketing, influencer and content marketing.
- Proven leadership and team development abilities in dynamic, competitive environments.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with deep consultative selling acumen.
- Strategic thinker with robust analytical skills and proficiency in CRM and sales management platforms.
- Postgraduate degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred).
