Job DescriptionSummary:
Candidate will serve as the regional lead for DRL's Ethics/ Compliance program for Manufacturing, R&D and Operations functions by providing compliance training and guidance to the executive team, managers and employees in locations and work closely with the Corporate compliance teams/ CCO
Roles & Responsibilities:
Regional Compliance Plan and Initiatives
- Work in developing a regional compliance plan for the AAA businesses managed (Asia Pacific, North and South Africa and Australia) with an action tracker
Training
- Trains and educates staff so that they are informed of compliance guidelines, policies, procedures
Contact person and liaisoning
- Acts as contact person and liaison between department heads and senior management in ensuring risk identification and mitigation
Assessing
- Conducts regular assessments to determine whether policies are compliant with the law.
Conduct Regional Compliance Council and other Compliance meetings
Manage oversight of the Statutory Compliance administration
About the Department
The Compliance Department at Dr. Reddy's is comprised of the broad work profiles such as Corporate Compliance, Compliance CoE and Business Compliance. This role is housed in the Global Generics – Emerging Markets BU.
Revenue from Emerging Markets was INR 45.7 billion, or a growth of 30% compared to FY2021. This was driven by an improvement in our base business performance, new product launches, sale of COVID related products and scaling up of business in some of our newer markets. We also divested a few of our non-core brands in Russia and CIS — which further aided revenue growth.

QualificationsQualifications, Experience , Skills & Attributes
- LLB with 12 to 18 years of experience
- 10+ years of practical experience in compliance program implementation working in a MNC
- Proven project management skills and ability to lead a team
- Proven experience of communicating effectively with decision-making individuals within an organization
- Pragmatic, self-starter with strong analytical skills to identify core issues. Strong problem-solving ability to come up with practical solutions that comply with law and work for the business
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to tailor your message to your target audience and communicate complex issues clearly and persuasively
- Ability to build solid relationships and to influence across a diverse group of business people with a wide array of professional backgrounds, including executive management
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully coordinate and complete multiple tasks within and across departments to meet established and changing deadlines.
- Unquestionable ethics and excellent judgment, ability to maintain confidentiality and act in a critical position of trust within the company.
- The ability and desire to work independently with limited direct supervision
- Business compliance advisory, Training and Awareness sessions conducting, Risk Management and Mitigation
- Audit, Investigations skills
