Responsible for managing comprehensive accounts payable processes, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and e-commerce financial operations with precision. Ensures timely payments, accurate financial reporting, and adherence to regulatory standards while collaborating across functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the entire Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice verification, approval workflows, posting entries, scheduling payments, and vendor communication.
  • Review vendor bills, supporting documents, and purchase orders (PO and non-PO invoices) for accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor accounts payable ageing, maintain payment schedules, perform vendor statement reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies swiftly.
  • Manage statutory compliance by ensuring correct TDS deduction and filing, GST input reconciliation, vendor GST compliance, and coordinate with tax auditors, CA, and CS for filing and audit processes.
  • Oversee month-end closing activities: prepare accruals, journal entries, financial statements support, balance sheet schedules, and variance analyses.
  • Maintain thorough and audit-ready financial records, documents, and reports.
  • Manage e-commerce marketplace finance, including settlement reconciliation, commission validation, and dispute resolution across platforms such as Nykaa, Myntra, Tata Cliq, and multi-designer stores.
  • Accurately record platform charges, GST components, payouts, withheld amounts, and follow up on claims, mismatches, and penalties with marketplace teams.
  • Work cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and management teams to resolve invoice disputes, obtain approvals, and ensure smooth financial query resolution.
  • Drive improvements in AP processes, support internal controls, and assist in ad hoc financial projects as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3 to 4 years of progressive experience in accounting, accounts payable, GST, TDS, and financial reconciliations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Indian GST, TDS processes, and compliance regulations.
  • Prior exposure to e-commerce or marketplace financial operations is highly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and accounting software, plus familiarity with reconciliation tools.
  • Exceptional accuracy, financial discipline, strong communication, and ability to meet month-end closing deadlines under pressure.
