Overview The Senior Accounts Executive plays a crucial role in our organization, overseeing the financial activities and ensuring adherence to accounting principles and company procedures. This position holds significant responsibility in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
  • Conduct account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial statements
  • Coordinate and support audits to ensure compliance
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
  • Manage tax compliance and reporting requirements
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Participate in the development of internal control guidelines
  • Collaborate with external parties, such as auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies
  • Contribute to the implementation of new accounting systems and tools
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and standards
  • Support special projects and initiatives as required
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and analysis
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
  • Previous experience in managing a team is desirable
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Thorough understanding of tax regulations and compliance
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements
  • Adaptability to organizational changes and growth
