Key Responsibilities
As a senior member of the RF design team, you will drive the architecture, design, and validation of complex RF hardware and systems for aerospace and defense projects.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• RF System Architecture and Design: Lead the definition and design of robust RF hardware and systems, translating high-level requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Circuit Design and Component Selection: Perform detailed circuit design and critically select RF, mixed-signal, and power components.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of RF component characteristics and behavior including, but not limited to: PLL, DDS, LNA, Mixer, PA, Filter, Coupler, and Switch.
• Possess strong experience and understanding of Power management components such as LDOs and Switching Regulators.
• Schematic and Layout: Create detailed and accurate schematics using tools like OrCAD Capture.
• Direct and oversee RF PCB layout and routing to ensure signal integrity, impedance matching, and minimal EMI/RFI effects.
• Modeling and Simulation: Utilize specialized RF tools such as ADS (Advanced Design System) and HFSS (High-Frequency Structure Simulator) for comprehensive circuit modeling, EM simulation, and performance prediction.
• High-Speed Integration: Work extensively on systems incorporating high-speed ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) and DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter), ensuring their effective integration into the RF chain.
• Test, Validation, and Measurement: Develop comprehensive test plans and perform rigorous verification.
• Possess deep knowledge of RF measurement techniques including Harmonics, IP3, Noise Figure, Jitter, Phase noise, and Lock time.
• Must be able to work hands-on with Lab equipment like Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), and Signal Generator.
• Subsystem Expertise: Apply specific experience in RADAR subsystem design.
• Digital Interfacing: Implement and integrate systems using knowledge of various Communication protocols such as RS422, RS232, RS485, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C.

Required Skills And Experience

• Experience: 12 to 20 years of relevant experience in RF hardware and system design.
• Technical Foundation: Solid understanding of and practical experience in RF hardware and system design.
• Component Expertise: Detailed knowledge and hands-on experience with the characteristics, selection, and application of a wide range of RF and power management components (as listed above).
• Tool Proficiency: Expertise in Schematic Creation in OrCAD Capture and experience guiding RF PCB layout.
• Simulation Tools: Proficient experience with RF tools such as ADS and HFSS.
• Test and Measurement: Expert proficiency in RF measurement techniques and direct, hands-on experience with laboratory test equipment (Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, VNA, Signal Generator).
• System Knowledge: Demonstrated experience working on systems involving high-speed ADC and DAC and specific experience in RADAR subsystem design.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts, document designs, and present findings
