Our client a laminate manufacturing company, seeks a dynamic, target-driven strong Sales Personnel to manage and grow the Mumbai sales territory.
Position: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Delhi / Rajasthan
Qualification: Engineer / MBA/PGDM
Experience: Minimum 8 10 Years
Salary: 18 LPA
Job Profile: Regional Sales Manager
The Regional Sales Manager will be fully responsible for all revenue generation, market share growth, channel expansion, and team performance within the assigned territory.
- Regional Sales & P&L Management:
Achieve aggressive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, ensuring overall P&L accountability for the designated region.
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase market penetration and product specification among key decision-makers.
Manage regional sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance metrics.
- Team Leadership & Performance:
Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of Sales Executives and Area Managers across the territory.
Set clear KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement development plans to maximize team efficiency and individual growth.
- Channel & Key Account Expansion (Field Focus):
Identify, onboard, and manage primary distributors and key channel partners (hardware shops, dealers) to ensure optimal market coverage and efficient inventory management.
Drive project specification by cultivating high-level relationships with regional architects, large interior design firms, and major property developers/contractors.
- Market Strategy & Competitive Intelligence:
Analyze competitive activities, pricing, schemes, and market dynamics in detail to formulate proactive counter-strategies.
Oversee trade marketing, regional promotional campaigns, and participate in industry exhibitions to enhance brand presence.
Ensure strict compliance with company credit policies and minimize outstanding debt across the region.
Skills & Competencies
- Mandatory Leadership: Proven track record of successfully leading, motivating, and managing a multi-location sales team.
- Negotiation & Financial Acumen: Exceptional skills in high-value negotiation, managing distribution margins, and handling financial terms.
- Sales Strategy: Deep understanding of the architectural specification process and B2B channel sales models in Northern India.
- Travel Readiness: Extensive travel within the territory is mandatory.
- Communication: Fluency in Hindi and English is required.
