Job DescriptionRole Description: This is a full-time, on-site role for a Regional Manager, based in Chennai. The Regional Manager will oversee daily operations, manage staff, develop strategic plans, and ensure customer satisfaction within their region.Client Coordination:Act as a point of contact for regional clients Ensure SLA adherence and high service quality Handle escalations and resolve service-related issues proactively P&L Ownership:Monitor regional profitability and cost control Identify cost-saving opportunities in sourcing and routing Drive performance metrics across the team Team Leadership:Lead and manage a team of operations executives, procurement officers, and field staff Train, mentor, and monitor performance Ensure alignment with VFRYTs core values and processes Reporting & Strategy:Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports Provide market feedback, competitor insights, and process improvement suggestions Collaborate with tech/product teams for feature feedbackExperience Required:8+ years in logistics/supply chain with minimum 3 years in a regional leadership roleQualificationsExperience in Logistics, Distribution, and Supply Chain Management Strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement process improvements Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field Proficiency in using advanced technological tools for supply chain management Strong vendor network in trucking/FTL industry Hands-on, problem-solving attitude with people and team management skills Familiarity with logistics software and basic data tools (Excel, CRM, etc.) Strong communication skills Hindi Speaking fluency is a plus
