Role Overview

As a CDP, you will be responsible for executing dishes to the highest standard, managing a section independently, contributing to menu development, and maintaining a clean, organized and efficient workspace.

You'll work closely with the Sous Chef & Head Chef to deliver a fine dining approach to quality and technique, in a lively and modern dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

Execute dishes with precision, taste and presentation consistency

Manage and organize assigned section (garde manger / hot / grill / bar bites station)

Follow recipes and SOPs with discipline, while contributing new ideas

Prep, cook, plate and pass dishes according to service standards

Maintain food quality, portion control and waste management

Support menu R&D, tasting sessions, and seasonal changes

Ensure hygiene, sanitation and food safety at all times

Maintain mise-en-place discipline and station readiness

Work seamlessly with FOH & bar for timing and guest experience

Train & mentor commis chefs on technique and standards

Skills & Experience

Required:

2–4 years experience in a premium restaurant / hotel kitchen

Solid foundation in European/Asian cooking techniques

Strong understanding of ingredients, stocks, sauces, seasoning

Knife skills & technical discipline

Ability to work independently and under pressure
