Job Summary:

The Store Incharge is responsible for efficiently managing the school's inventory and supplies, ensuring proper storage, record-keeping, and timely distribution of materials to various departments. The role involves maintaining stock levels, verifying deliveries, and ensuring all inventory operations comply with the school's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock items.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify all materials, supplies, and equipment delivered to the school.
  • Issue materials and supplies to staff as per approved requests.
  • Regularly update the stock register and maintain computerized inventory records.
  • Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase requisitions for replenishment.
  • Ensure proper labeling, arrangement, and safe storage of all items.
  • Conduct periodic physical verification of stock and report discrepancies, if any.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts and Purchase Departments for bill verification and vendor payments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store area.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
  • Prepare monthly and annual inventory reports.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of school operational requirements and procurement processes (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
