The Lab Assistant will support the quality control and testing processes within the in-house laboratory of an Ayurvedic manufacturing facility. The role involves assisting in routine laboratory testing, handling samples, maintaining documentation, ensuring proper functioning of laboratory instruments, and supporting overall QC operations to ensure product safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:1. Laboratory Testing Support

  • Assist in routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished Ayurvedic products under the guidance of the QC Analyst.
  • Prepare reagents, solutions, and equipment required for testing.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain good laboratory practices (GLP).

2. Sample Handling & Collection

  • Collect samples from various production areas as per sampling protocols.
  • Label, store, and manage samples to prevent contamination and ensure traceability.

3. Documentation & Record Keeping

  • Prepare and type laboratory documents, test reports, worksheets, and logs.
  • Maintain laboratory records, files, registers, and documentation as per regulatory and company requirements.
  • Update test results and ensure timely and accurate data entry.

4. Email & Report Management

  • Draft and send test reports via email to concerned departments.
  • Communicate with production, QA, and procurement teams regarding sample status and test updates.

5. Instrument Care & Maintenance

  • Operate basic laboratory instruments (pH meter, balance, microscope, etc.).
  • Ensure cleanliness, calibration reminders, and routine upkeep of lab equipment.
  • Report breakdowns or maintenance needs to the Lab In-Charge.

6. Compliance & Safety

  • Follow GMP, GLP, and safety guidelines applicable to Ayurvedic manufacturing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laboratory environment.
  • Support audit preparation and assist during regulatory inspections.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10, ₹14,000.00 per month
