Remote, India Orbit Textile Engineers Pvt. Ltd., Full time ₹ 19,20,000 - ₹ 36,00,000 per year

To drive sales growth and deliver dependable first-level service for Orbit's product portfolio across the Tamil Nadu textile belt.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate enquiries, prepare quotes, and close orders for textile machinery & spares.

  • Conduct mill visits, product demos, and customer training.

  • Provide basic installation, commissioning, and first-level troubleshooting support.

  • Build strong relationships with mill purchase teams, maintenance heads, and management.

  • Maintain sales funnels, visit reports, and weekly MIS.

  • Support after-sales service, warranty issues, and collections.

  • Participate in product trials, audits, exhibitions, and training sessions as required.

Pre-requisites (Must-Haves)

  • 3–10 years in textile machinery / spares sales & service.

  • Familiarity with yarn & sliver handling systems, knotting machines, spindle lubrication, and spinning preparatory processes.

  • Willingness to undertake extensive field travel across Tamil Nadu.

  • Based in / willing to relocate to Dindigul, Madurai, or Coimbatore.

  • Fluent in Tamil & English (verbal + written).

  • Valid two-wheeler & four-wheeler licence; comfortable driving both.

  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, Google Sheets, WhatsApp reporting).

  • Age ≤ 45 years.

  • Notice period ≤ 2 months.

Desirable

  • Existing mill-level contacts in Dindigul, Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem.

  • Exposure to preparatory machinery: combers, draw frames, lap formers.

  • Reimbursement policy: weekly fuel reimbursement, meal allowances by distance/timing, hotel expenses for outstation visits within prescribed limits.

  • Training, reviews, and support via Coimbatore HQ.
