  • Role Overview: We are looking for a highly energetic Business Development Executive to drive lead generation and opportunity creation in Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) and wastewater treatment projects (MEE, ATFD, MVRE, ETP, STP). The role demands market penetration, industrial prospecting, and relationship-building with pharma, chemical, dyes, and process industries.
  • Key Responsibilities: Generate qualified leads through cold calls, visits, exhibitions, LinkedIn outreach, and referrals. Map new prospects in industrial zones, MIDCs, SEZs, and clusters. Initiate first-level conversations with decision-makers (EHS Heads, Project Managers, Utility Heads, Consultants). Understand project basics (effluent volume, COD/TDS, compliance deadlines, budgets). Track tenders, CETP expansions, NGT/MPCB directives, competitor activities. Build and update a sales funnel in CRM/ERP. Represent company at industry expos, conferences & forums.
  • Skills & Competencies: Hunter mindset – aggressive prospector with high energy. Strong communication, networking & negotiation skills. Basic knowledge of ZLD/Wastewater technologies. Industrial networking & market intelligence. Willingness to travel 70% of the time.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): No. of qualified ZLD project leads per month. No. of first meetings/site visits scheduled. Value of potential ZLD pipeline created. Accuracy & conversion ratio of qualified leads handed to sales.
  • Salary: As per industry standards, based on experience.
