Job Overview

Prism INC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Associate to join our finance team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in managing core accounting functions, payroll, and statutory compliance. You will support the finance department in day-to-day operations and ensure accurate financial records in compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounts, including payables, receivables, journal entries, and ledger
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and assist in fund flow tracking
  • Prepare and file statutory returns, including GST, TDS, EPF, ESIC, and PT
  • Process payroll, calculate salaries, and manage deductions
  • Support the finance team during audits and assist in preparing financial reports
  • Track fixed deposits and manage basic LC (Letter of Credit) documentation
  • Ensure timely and compliant handling of all financial records
  • Deployment of 6 Orbits for task management, approval workflows, and documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting roles
  • Familiarity with Indian tax and compliance laws, including GST, TDS, PF, and ESIC

Skills

  • Strong grasp of core accounting principles
  • Good understanding of payroll processing and statutory compliance
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial reporting
  • Effective communication and coordination abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
