Senior Visual Communication Designer

At EuMo, in your role as a visual communication designer, your day-to-day tasks will consist of creating visually engaging, innovative and functional communication for print, spatial and digital products. You must possess an ability to bring concepts and communication to life with sharp visualization and application of skillsets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Lead Visual Communication Designer, your skillsets will include areas of design such as typography, iconography, color, space, form and texture as well as people management skills. You will use your knowledge, expertise and skills to develop and supervise user-centered solutions in the disciplines of graphic design, communication and UX/UI.

Here are some of your responsibilities in detail –

• Lead and mentor a team of visual designers, providing guidance, feedback, and inspiration to foster their professional growth and ensure the delivery of exceptional design solutions
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including visual communication designers, architects, and spatial designers, to understand project requirements, define design objectives, and align visual design strategies with overall product goals.
• Drive the end-to-end design process, from concept development to final implementation, ensuring that design solutions meet business objectives, user needs, and brand guidelines.
• Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to the design team, promoting collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user insights and conduct user research, translating findings into actionable design recommendations and improvements.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Prepare for a project through research and inquiry.
• Generate clear ideas, concepts and designs of creative assets.
• Work collaboratively with designers to ensure seamless solutions are created for each project.
• Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary teams that includes spatial designers, architects, interior designers.
• Translate client business requirements, user needs, technical requirements into designs that are visually enticing, easy to use, and emotionally engaging.
• Develop user-interfaces that are easy to read, easy to understand and easy to navigate.
• Be aware of the latest standards, changes, trends in visual design & communication.
• Develop or supervise the execution of your design solutions into prototypes and finished products along with cross-functional internal teams and vendors.
• Oversee creative work by junior designers and turn around complete projects.

REQUIRED:

• Previous experience leading a design team and managing projects from conception to delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of visual design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, and composition.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and provide constructive feedback.
• Prior professional experience in designing brand identity systems, editorial layouts and applications for web, desktop and mobile.
• Self-learning, able to learn new tools quickly and work in a fast evolving environment.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, XD/InvisionApp, Figma and other software.
• Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in the graphic design field.

Your research skills are a tool that helps you pinpoint problems and solutions and identify opportunities that form the foundation of ideas.

Ideation skills -

Your ability to create divergent routes as creative solutions and then converge on a route to develop the idea through to a solution will be an important skill in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹65, ₹75,000.00 per month
