Role: Manager/ Senior Manager/Chief Manager (Fleet Insurance)

Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai

Position Overview

Responsible for evaluating and underwriting motor fleet insurance risks, ensuring profitability and compliance with company underwriting guidelines.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Evaluating new business, renewals, and endorsements for motor fleet accounts, which may range from small commercial fleets to large corporate accounts.
  • The underwriter works closely with brokers, agents, and internal teams to provide tailored insurance solutions in line with company & regulatory guidelines.
  • Performing portfolio analysis & identifying segments to balance business growth & loss ratio for fleet book.
  • Audits & Hygiene of fleet business
  • Client Visits for specific fleets if required.

Education & experience requirements

  • Graduate/Post-Graduate
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in general insurance
  • Experience in Motor Fleet Underwriting/Claims is preferred

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of Motor LOB & specially fleet UW.
  • Understanding of Loss Ratios, COR
  • Good Analytical Skills and ability to convince sales / clients
  • Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word, Powerpoin
