Role: Chief Manager Motor Claims

Job location: Goregaon East, Mumbai

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Manager to join our Motor Claims team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of motor claims processes, especially Motor TP (Third Party) claims, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to drive data analytics projects. This role requires coordination with the IT team and the automation of reporting processes to enhance efficiency. The individual will be responsible for monthly data and MIS reporting, problem-solving, and ensuring smooth communication between claims and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motor Claims Expertise: Oversee and manage the complete lifecycle of motor claims reporting, with a specific focus on Motor TP claims.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Proficient in preparing Monthly Data Reports and MIS for internal stakeholders. Take charge of Reports Automation with IT support to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Collaboration with IT: Work closely with the IT team to resolve any data or system issues affecting the motor claims process. Ensure seamless coordination between claims and IT teams for system upgrades or issues.
  • Problem Solving: Apply a problem-solving mindset to address analytics requirements shared by the Claims Head. Ensure that use-case-based analytics are provided to improve decision-making.
  • System and Process Understanding: Leverage in-depth knowledge of the system and processes related to motor claims to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage data analytics projects from start to finish. This includes Requirement Gathering, Creating Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Testing, and Rollout.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather feedback, refine requirements, and ensure alignment on data analytics initiatives.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in Motor Claims, with a solid understanding of Motor TP claims.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and reporting.

  • Knowledge of Python is an added advantage for data analytics or automation purposes.

  • Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of Motor Claims systems and processes, with a focus on optimization and efficiency.

  • Reporting & Automation: Experience in MIS reporting and Report Automation using IT tools.
  • Analytics & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical abilities with a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams, particularly IT and Claims teams.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing data analytics projects from gathering requirements to testing and deployment.

Educational Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors degree in any discipline (preferably related to Finance, Insurance, or Business Analytics).
  • Certifications in Data Analytics or Project Management (optional but preferred).
