Book Sales

You'll be representing the author and the book at the Hyderabad Book Fair and at future pop-up events across the city. This role is for someone who enjoys talking to people, can confidently set up a small booth, and genuinely loves selling a story. You'll handle everything from arranging the table to engaging visitors, collecting contacts, and driving sales.
What you'll do
You'll set up and manage the booth at the fair, parks, corporate offices, colleges, or any event space. You'll explain the book, talk to readers in a friendly and persuasive way, and drive walk-ins into actual buyers. You'll maintain a neat, attractive booth, track daily sales, and collect phone numbers/emails through e-receipts. You'll coordinate with the author for inventory, restock, and basic reporting. After the book fair, you'll continue doing small pop-ups and corporate stalls to keep the book's momentum growing.
What you should be good at
You enjoy meeting people and talking confidently. You should be comfortable setting up small stalls independently, handling light logistics, and managing cash/UPI payments. Basic understanding of how to collect leads digitally is helpful. You should be dependable, organized, and presentable. If you've done sales, events, merchandising, or promotions before, that's a bonus.
Location & Work Style
Mostly Hyderabad. You may need to travel across the city for stalls and events. Work hours depend on event timings, especially during the 10-day Book Fair.
Compensation
Monthly salary + performance-based incentives on sales.
